ID:\n\nJR113403 Technician, Process Control Systems (PCS) (Evergreen)\n\nOur vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all.\n\nMicron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.\n\nThe PCS Technician executes, maintains, and sustains Micron\u2019s PCS systems, SPACE Statistical Process Control (SPC), Applied Materials E3: Fault Detection and Classification (FDC) and Run to Run (R2R), MES (Manufacturing Execution System), MESCentral, and MAM (Manufacturing Application Management), RMS (Recipe Management Systems)\n\nto ensure accurate system updates, stable automation behavior, and strong data integrity across manufacturing.\n\n \n\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n \n\n\n1) SPC (SPACE Platform)\n\n * Create and update SPC charts, limits, rules, and attributes.\n * Monitor chart health and escalate abnormalities.\n\n \n\n\n2) E3 \u2013 FDC \u0026 R2R\n\n * Update FDC traces, limits, alarms; perform basic troubleshooting.\n * Enable/disable R2R models based on engineering instruction. \n\n\n\n\n3) RMS \u2013 Recipe \u0026 Parameter Control\n\n * Process recipe revisions and parameter changes.\n * Validate recipe uploads and equipment communication. \n\n\n\n\n4) SigmaSpec \u2013 Specification Management\n\n * Update SigmaSpec per approved engineering change.\n * Ensure spec alignment across SPC, FDC, R2R, and RMS. \n\n\n\n\n5) MES / Shop Floor Systems\n\n * Execute MES changes, validations, and state transitions.\n * Support WIP, equipment status, and data collection plan accuracy.\n * Troubleshoot MES errors (missing data, state flow issues, communication faults). \n\n\n\n\n6) MAM \u2013 Application Logic Support\n\n * Update PCS\u2011linked MAM workflows.\n * Validate rule behavior affecting SPC, FDC, and system communication.\n * Escalate MAM logic issues impacting control strategy. \n\n\n\n\n7) Governance \u0026 Documentation\n\n * Execute changes following ECN and site governance procedures.\n * Maintain change logs and verification/closure evidence. \n\n\n\n\n8) Monitoring \u0026 First\u2011Line Troubleshooting\n\n * Monitor dashboards for alarms, data gaps, and communication failures.\n * Perform first\u2011line diagnosis and escalate as needed.\n\n \n\n\n9) Cross\u2011Functional Collaboration\n\n * Support Process, Equipment, Manufacturing, PCS/Automation, and Quality Engineering.\n * Provide on\u2011floor support during major updates or equipment conversions.\n\n \n\n\n10)Competencies\n\n * Problem Solving-Structured, data\u2011driven troubleshooting.\n * Accountability-System reliability, documentation accuracy, and ownership.\n * Teamwork-Effective collaboration across engineering \u0026 operations.\n * Innovation-Continuous improvement mindset and persistence through complexity.\n\n \n\n\nQualifications\n\n * Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma in Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, IT, Automation, or related field.\n * Basic understanding of SPC, automation, and semiconductor operations.\n * Experience with SPACE SPC, E3 FDC/R2R, RMS, MES/Shop Floor and SigmaSpe is preferred.\n * Semiconductor manufacturing or automation experienc will be ana dded advantage.\n * Able to work on 12 hours rotating shift.\n\n\n\nIntegrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.\n\nContributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one\u2019s scope of work\n\n \n\n\nJob Profile(s):\n\nQuality Technician 1 - Quality Technician 2\n\nRelocation level: (TBD)\n\nBefore Getting Started \nPlease review Micron\u2019s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs.
