JOB PROFILE: TESTING ENGINEER

General Information

Purpose of the role: To perform in-house testing of our solutions in terms of performance as per customer specifications and on site support.

Reports to: Service & Testing Manager

Responsibilities

• Perform in-house testing of industrial power supply solutions to ensure conformity to our quality standards and customer specification
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues as part of testing to ensure system is fit for delivery
• Conduct factory acceptance test (FAT) with inspectors, customers and end users
• Verify routine testing procedure, FAT procedure, and project operating manual
• Act as a backup Service Engineer for on-site supervision of installation, commissioning, and site acceptance test  with our customers of industrial power supply solutions upon request by the Company
• Prepare on-site training for end users for operation, maintenance,  troubleshooting and repair
• Maintain good customer relations through phone and remote support to solve on-site technical issues
• Any other request by the Company or other duties as assigned by the  immediate  Superior/Manager

Core competencies

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering
• Understanding of electrical drawings and design,knowledge  of uninterruptible power supplies will be an advantage
• Able to perform troubleshooting in a systematic manner
• Knowledge of industrial markets will be an advantage
• Fluent in English
• Class 3 driving license an advantage
