Tooling Management Specialist Up to S$6.5K (Yearly Renewable Contract) - Opportunity to Make a Diff

Job Responsibilities

• Overseeing tooling management issues
• Tracking the progress of tooling projects for New Product Introduction (NPI) and monitoring tooling capacity
• Tooling modification and Engineer Change status follow up as well as purchase requisition status follow up
• Coordinating the status of tooling migration and facilitating necessary actions.
• Addressing critical quality issues occurring in Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) factories related to molding processes
• Reviewing tooling decommissioning decisions and overseeing scrap progress
• Ensuring documentation related to tooling management system is up to date according to the tooling schedule
• Collecting regular reports from suppliers and ensuring necessary actions are taken
• Monitoring the status of First Article Inspection (FAI) and Re-FAI processes with tooling engineers

Job Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in tooling, plastic injection, or sheet metal stamping industries.
• Candidate without prior experience may apply
• Proficiency in ODM mechanical assembly processes would be a plus
• Comfortable for business travels to various APAC countries (Once every 2 months)
