Role Overview The successful candidate will be responsible for building Liquidnet's brand and growing its presence in APAC with a focus on expanding our offering to Singapore based clients (Members).
The role will provide day-to-day coverage of Liquidnet members with the focus on block crossing and managing interactions within the Liquidnet front end application. This includes understanding in depth each member's business and trading workflows so that usage of Liquidnet's products can be tailored to best suit the Member's needs.
The candidate must attain a thorough understanding of the Liquidnet trading eco-system, changing trends in the institutional trading space and be able to articulate how these areas fit together. Trade Coverage provides member support, focusing primarily on providing proactive management of members' liquidity and executions. They are responsible for driving revenue, uncovering new opportunities and fully understanding member behaviour.
Role Responsibilities - Identifying new opportunities related to trends, future markets, products, and clients, and implementing them as agreed.
- Focusing on specific markets and maintaining regular contact with relevant individuals and organisations to identify buyers and sellers, facilitate price discovery, and create the necessary liquidity for transactions.
- Interpreting and leveraging Analytics insights and trade-related data to enhance members overall trading and investment performance.
- Communicating effectively with internal stakeholders to appropriately manage Members and Customers relationships and expectations.
- Understanding relevant regulations and ensuring compliance with the evolving regulatory landscape and internal/external governance, in partnership with Infrastructure teams.
- Supporting a risk and compliance aware culture and promoting behaviours that align with group policies. Driving process improvements and technology enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce operational risk.
Experience / Competences Essential
- The ideal candidate would likely be currently working in APAC equities trading, with a strong ability and focus on block crossing.

- A strong understanding of electronic trading in Asia Pacific including algorithmic products, and TCA.
