Trade Finance Specialist

We are partnering with a leading international bank to identify an experienced Trade Finance Specialist to support and manage end-to-end documentary trade finance operations within a dynamic corporate banking environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who enjoy working in a fast-paced, process-driven environment and are looking to deepen their exposure across international trade finance operations, client advisory, and cross-functional stakeholder management.

1. Manage and process end-to-end trade finance transactions in line with internal policies and international regulatory standards
2. Handle documentary trade products including Letters of Credit, Guarantees, and Collections
3. Perform pre- and post-processing activities for trade finance transactions
4. Vet import L/C documentation and ensure compliance with ICC guidelines
5. Monitor and reconcile transactions processed through offshore or regional processing hubs
6. Review daily reports for pending and matured transactions
7. Coordinate closely with Relationship Managers, Trade Sales teams, Operations, and Compliance stakeholders
8. Provide guidance and support to internal teams on trade finance processes and documentation
9. Participate in process improvement initiatives, projects, and operational enhancements
10. Support client servicing activities with a strong focus on accuracy, turnaround time, and service excellence

1. Degree or Diploma in Business, Banking, Finance, Law, or a related discipline
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in Trade Finance Operations, particularly in Documentary Trade Business
3. Strong understanding of ICC rules including:UCP 600, ISBP, URDG, URC 522
4. Experience working with processing hubs or regional trade operations teams is advantageous
5. Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
6. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced banking environment
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
