Training Officer - Urgent Role

Responsibilities:

Training and Curriculum Development

• Prepare course materials and assessments for stand-up training sessions.
• Deliver existing and/or new training content and courseware to employees.
• Review and update training content to incorporate the latest procedures, case studies, and safety information.
• Implement recommendations for program improvement and evaluate learning outcomes.
• Assist in the development and production of e-learning content.
• Support with WSQ course accreditation and identify training interventions.
• Assess and certify staff for vehicle operation and in-house content training.

Administration

• Coordinate and conduct both in-house and external training sessions.
• Maintain accurate qualification, attendance, and training records for staff.
• Prepare training reports and dashboards for stakeholder review.
• Update and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS) and training databases.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze training needs and develop annual training plans.
• Monitor training utilization rates and assist with training grant claims.
• Support audit preparation and reporting.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by superiors.

Requirements:

• Ability to work weekends on a rotating roster.
• Minimum 'A' level or Diploma and above qualifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a training-related field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Preferably certified in WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) or Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP).
• Excellent planning and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
• Strong IT application skills and confidence in using IT systems.
