Transaction Reporting Analyst - Global Hedge Fund - Singapore

Our client, a reputable hedge fund with global offices, is actively looking for a subject matter expert in Transaction Reporting to provide insights and guidance for implementation, ensuring regulatory compliance for the firm.

The role:

1. Interpret and guide the implementation of Transaction Reporting processes to guarantee compliance with regulations.
2. Analyze the impact and design business requirements and change specifications for APAC Transaction Reporting initiatives and firm-wide programs affecting the region.
3. Collaborate with the engineering team to create practical solutions and establish a robust control framework around all reporting obligations.
4. Lead projects from initiation to completion, coordinating with multiple stakeholders across the region.
5. Oversee daily reporting operations to ensure accuracy and completeness, while driving efficiency enhancements.

What you offer:

1. At least 5+ years of relevant experience
2. Extensive experience with regulatory transaction reporting in Asia, including HKMA and MAS OTC transactions.
3. Familiarity with current industry practices and developments in regulatory reporting, both regionally and globally.
4. In-depth knowledge of Equities, FX, and FICC products, including their trading, booking, and reporting processes.
5. Understanding of the front-to-back trading and booking lifecycle, as well as the platforms involved and their interaction with reporting.
6. Proven ability to lead projects and engage with internal stakeholders effectively.
7. Experience working with Operations, Legal/Compliance, and Application Development teams across various locations for solution design and problem resolution.
8. Senior Business Analyst/Project Manager with hands-on development experience or equivalent.
9. Strong understanding of controls and validation frameworks.
10. Proficient in database queries and data analysis, with the ability to work independently.
