Transport Management Officer - Chemical - Start Immediately

The client is one of the world's top multinational chemical producers.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate closely with 3PL service providers to ensure they meet performance goals and improve operations and costs.
• Collaborate with business units, legal, and EHS departments on trade controls.
• Communicate with government regulatory agencies regarding statutory requirements.
• Work with business units on SOPs, improvement projects, and specific needs.
• Ensure 3PL compliance with safety guidelines and conduct audits.
• Manage insurance coverage and claims processes.
• Conduct audits and checks at 3PL to ensure adherence to rules.
• Manage non-conformances and implement corrective measures.
• Support logistics procurement activities and act as a backup for the logistics team.
• Assist in small-value procurement processes for logistics services.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Business Administration / Logistics Management 
• Min 1 year in logistics operations, including warehousing, distribution, and transport management, preferably in the chemical industry.
• Knowledge of licensing requirements and dangerous Goods Handling.
• Regional experience is advantageous.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and SAP.
