Job Description

We are looking for a Travel Consultant to provide a smooth travel experience for our corporate Clients. 

Responsibilities

  • Handle business travel requests, including air, hotel, car and rail. Flight bookings will range from simple point-to-point to complex multi-cities.  
  • Ensure that reservations are aligned with the Client’s travel policy and be proactive in optimising the Client’s travel spend. 
  • Provide insightful travel advisory. 
  • Handle any amendments, cancellations, schedule changes and disruptions, communicating the implication of each change to the Client in a professional manner.  
  • Generate invoices and ensure accurate billing. 
  • Deliver excellent customer service and build rapport with the Client. 

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Possess knowledge of fares and ticketing. Able to analyse fares and routing alternatives to present the best options to the Client.  
  • Experience making flight reservations using Sabre and/or Amadeus. 
  • Knowledge of other travel products including hotels, car transfer and rail would be a bonus. 
  • Good geographical and fare knowledge.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
  • Meticulous and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive team player with good communications skills.
