Trust Company Compliance Lead

A unique compliance leadership role that will straddle across both the trust business and corporate service solutions. This position will involve leading a small team to exercise end to end compliance coverage and work closely with senior stakeholders to collectively navigate the regulatory landscape.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

1. Lead a small team and be responsible for end-to-end compliance function.
2. Lead the implementation and enhancement of compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
3. Keep abreast of regulatory developments and advise the business on compliance requirements.
4. Provide leadership to the compliance team to ensure ongoing adherence to regulatory compliance, AML requirements and market best practices.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

1. At least 5 years of compliance experience in the financial services sector, ideally from a Trust, Custody or Corporate Services background.
2. A good understanding of the Trustees Act and AML requirements pertaining HNW/UHNW individuals.
3. Leadership qualities – experience managing a small team before will be advantageous.
4. Mandarin capabilities a good to have but not a hard requirement.
