UI UX Designer - Hiring Fast

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative UX/UI Designer with a strong foundation in frontend development to join our growing team. You will be key in crafting user-centric digital experiences for various government services. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to create intuitive, user-friendly, and visually appealing interfaces while also being able to translate designs into functional prototypes or front-end code. That includes creating user personas, mapping user journeys, creating prototypes, and testing them out with actual users. 

Experience in communicating design inputs, decisions, and outputs with key stakeholders is a definite plus.

Tasks and Responsibilities                     

• Conduct user research to understand user needs and pain points.
• Create user personas, journey maps and design artifacts like Information architecture
• Develop user personas and journey maps to inform the design process.
• Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile applications.
• Ensure the compliance of ICT&SS, Singapore Government Design System guidelines and accessibility standards.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure designs are translated effectively into code. 
• Write clean and maintainable HTML, CSS, and potentially JavaScript code to create interactive prototypes or demonstrate core functionalities.*
• Stay up-to-date on the latest UX/UI design trends and best practices, as well as frontend development frameworks and libraries.
• Conduct consumer research across the product lifecycle
• Proactively engage with multiple stakeholders in drafting and brainstorming concepts
• Convert research insights into interaction flows and wireframes
• Create prototypes of varying fidelity.

UX/UI Designer

• Plan and conduct user research and competitor analysis
• Interpret data and qualitative feedback
• Create user stories, personas, and storyboards
• Determine information architecture and create sitemaps
• Create prototypes and wireframes
• Conduct usability testing

Front-end Developer

• Develop new user-facing features
• Write reusable code and libraries for JAVA/.NET front end (HTML, CSS, JS, React,)
• Enhance application for maximum speed and scalability.
• Validate input before submitting to the back end
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders
• Bridge the gap between graphic design and technical implementation.
• Define how the application looks and how it works.
• Translate UI/UX design wireframes to actual code.

Skills and Requirements

• Good experience in user experience and interface design, with a supporting portfolio
• Familiarity with designing mobile applications
• Familiarity with mapping complex user journeys
• Ability to form, prototype, and clearly communicate ideas and decisions.
• Familiarity with prototyping tools like Figma /XD, Illustrator, InVision 
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Able to work well with remote, cross-functional teams
• Responsible, self-motivated, and comfortable taking the initiative.
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and jQuery
• Experience working in a Agile team
