Underwriter Associate, S$4K, 12-month, CBD - Continuous Learning Opportunities

Job Scope: 

• Assist the underwriters with the credit & financial risk analysis (quantitative and qualitative) of corporations
• Underwriting of deals, information research, financial sector and project transactions analysis (i.e. from single buyer credit, trade finance, project finance)
• Conduct credit research and market analysis on our key risk exposure in the Asia Pacific region
• Support the underwriters with Customer Resource Management (CRM) administration 
• Ad-hoc projects that will be assigned from time to time

Job Requirement:

• Min Diploma in Accountancy, Economics, Finance or Business related discipline
• Eager to learn and be prepared to do a wide range of tasks required by the underwriters and management
• Possess good written and verbal communication and customer service skills
• Be proactive, detail oriented, a fast learner, enthusiastic, and adaptable
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop in the area of corporate credit & financial analysis
• Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• As more knowledge and experience are gained, more responsibility is given, with significant opportunities to learn about Credit and Political Risk insurance, financial and geopolitical analysis, as well as commercial and competitive relationship management

• Contract duration: 12-month contract

• Working days and hours: Mon to Friday, 9am to 6pm
