Underwriting Executive (Reinsurance Industry)

Key Responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end treaty renewal process, including pre-underwriting activities, renewal statistics preparation, and review of slip wordings.
• Input and maintain renewal data in pricing tools and systems, including Nat Cat modelling and treaty information in SICS.
• Prepare and manage underwriting documentation, reports, and referrals to Head Office, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
• Maintain impeccable administration, documentation, and filing of all underwriting and renewal-related records in both electronic and physical formats.
• Generate regular reports, perform compliance activities (AML checks, contract certainty tracking, EPI revisions), and support ad-hoc projects and operational duties.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in non-life treaty (re)insurance underwriting, underwriting support, or pricing.
• Basic knowledge of catastrophe modelling tools and treaty pricing methodologies is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.
• Meticulous, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy and ownership.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
