U.S Hedge Fund - Compliance Officer

A renown U.S hedge fund is looking to hire a standalone compliance role that will oversee the Singapore office’s compliance program. The role will have a heavier focus on providing markets compliance advisory to the front office.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

• Provide timely compliance advisory to the business on trading regulations and best practices across all asset classes.
• Keep abreast of regulatory developments in Singapore and ensure all compliance obligations are adhered to.
• Contribute to global compliance initiatives to enhance corporate governance, reporting, and monitoring processes.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

• At least 10 years of experience in the hedge fund or global markets industry focusing on markets compliance advisory.
• Demonstrate a good understanding of the financial markets, trading strategies and related regulatory requirements/best practices.
• Strong stakeholders management skills and ability to work independently.
