Valuation Specialist (AI Transformation) I 12 mths contract

Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Valuation Specialist to support an AI-driven transformation for one of our client. This role sits at the intersection of valuation expertise and technology adoption, focused on onboarding assets to a new valuation platform, validating platform outputs, and championing the platform across its user base.

The successful candidate will bring deep, hands-on valuation experience in privately held companies and act as a subject-matter expert, tester, and user advocate throughout the platform's rollout and ongoing development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the onboarding of assets onto the new valuation platform, ensuring data integrity and methodological accuracy.


• Review and validate valuation platform outputs, identifying discrepancies and areas for refinement.


• Serve as a hands-on tester of platform features, providing structured feedback to shape functionality and workflows.


• Act as a user advocate, representing the needs of valuation practitioners in platform design and enhancement decisions.


• Promote adoption of the platform among users, driving engagement and building confidence in its outputs.


• Partner with technical and product teams to translate valuation requirements into platform capabilities.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Minimum 5–10 years of hands-on valuation experience in privately held companies, with a demonstrable track record (valuations performed, asset types and sectors covered, etc.).


• Formal finance and/or accounting background or qualifications preferred


• Strong command of private company valuation methodologies, including Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) and peer/comparable company analysis.


• Familiarity with how Private Equity and Venture Capital investors approach company valuation.


• Solid understanding of finance and accounting principles.
