Vendor Development & Sourcing Executive - Tuas/MNC - (ID: 602995) - Urgent Position

Responsibilities:

• Vendor Development & Sourcing for Singapore, as well as specific-need global sourcing for the Company’s Group.
• Building relationships and partnerships with trustworthy vendors and suppliers
• Identifying suitable vendors and directing negotiations to reach mutual win-win agreement with the best possible cost service guarantee, timely delivery and quality commitments
• Coordinating product information and prototype samples requests with vendors / suppliers
• Anticipating and driving issue resolution and communicating as necessary
• Managing supplier & vendor accounts, and creating a vendor rating platform going forward
• lnterface and co-ordination with the respective group operations
• Supporting the inventory planning and forecasting process to ensure continued availability of existing and future supplies.
• Negotiation with freight forwarders will be required to be done.
• Responsible for purchasing activity with good coordination with worldwide suppliers.
• He/she has to coordinate with all suppliers as well as track the deliveries.
• The person should be able to coordinate with the internal projects department for solving technical issues for placing purchase orders.
• Ensuring compliance for all purchasing activities which comply with relevant laws, regulations and policies.
• Managing the procurement process by overseeing the purchasing of goods and services to provide supporting documents and processing of supplier invoices for payment.
• Tracking and reporting on purchasing activities, performance, cost savings and areas for improvement.
• Able to understand basic 2D technical drawing/ specifications.

Job requirement:

• Work Experience: 2 to 3 years in purchasing dept. of any good company/Supply Chain
• Management department Key Skills
• Working on ERP systems will be added advantageous
• Commercial knowledge will be an added advantage. Proven skills in purchase /negotiations/ team player.
