Verification and Validation Engineer – Air Traffic Management

As a Verification and Validation Engineer, you will define the project's integration, verification, validation, and qualification (IVVQ) strategy and maintains its comprehensive execution plan. The role focuses on leading technical gate reviews, mitigating early project risks, and making critical defect priority recommendations during configuration control boards. Additionally, the engineer leverages extensive safety-critical system experience to continuously improve IVV practices and align activities with standard software engineering lifecycles.

Responsibilities:

·        Define the Project IVV and Transition Strategy

·        Develop and maintain the IVVQ Plan

·        IVV technical gate reviews both internal and with the Customer

·        Contribute to the capitalisation and continuous improvement of IVV practices

·        Identify risks and propose effective solution early to mitigate

·        Participate in program configuration control boards (CCBs) and make defect priority recommendations

·        Participate in technical status review

Essential Requirements:

·        Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or relevant experience

·        Test Engineering experience in complex software centric safety critical based systems

·        Air Traffic Management knowledges

·        Solid knowledge and experience in Systems and Software Engineering lifecycles (eg. EIA632, ISO/IEC15288)

·        Collaboration tools including Jira, Confluence etc.

·        Experience with the use of Requirement/Tests and Defects Management System
