About the Department
The Finance and Corporate Services function manages the financial and administrative needs of the Group to help achieve its business goals.
Group Finance We support enhanced decision-making to achieve optimal and sustainable financial outcomes for our shareholders. We are responsible for providing insights into the performance of the Group through financial, regulatory and performance reporting of the Group.
Job Responsibilities
Be part of the Regulatory Reporting team
Support the delivery of regulatory submissions and public disclosures on Group and Bank's capital positions on an accurate, efficient and timely basis
Develop management dashboards to monitor capital consumption across business segments and countries, and escalate issues for prompt resolution
Be a strategic partner to business units by providing analytics and insights on the capital and RWA implications of growth strategies and investment opportunities
Support various submissions and engagements with regulators e.g. MAS / BCBS, including surveys, consultation papers and queries
Identify areas for process improvement, enhancements and automations to effectively track workflows and manage key risk areas
Job Requirements
Degree in Accounting / Finance / Business or equivalent professional certification
At least 8-10 years of experience in the banking and finance sector
Good knowledge of MAS Notice 637 or Basel capital rules
Experience in capital reporting, management or planning activities will be an advantage
Proactive, meticulous and able to work independently as well as in a team
Good communication and interpersonal skills to engage various internal and external stakeholders
Able to organize and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
