VP, Structured Finance

Description

• Lead the end-to-end structuring and execution of bespoke credit transactions across private credit, structured lending and special situation financings.
• Conduct independent credit underwriting and downside risk analysis, including cash-flow assessment, collateral evaluation, covenant design and security structuring.
• Prepare and present credit memoranda and recommendations to internal approval committees, articulating clear and well-reasoned credit views.
• Drive term sheet negotiation, due diligence and legal documentation, working closely with external counsel, sponsors and borrower management teams across jurisdictions.
• Support post-closing portfolio oversight, including covenant monitoring, risk mitigation, remediation strategies and transaction exits where applicable.

Profile

• At least 10 years of experience in structured lending, private credit, project finance or asset-backed finance roles.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience owning transactions from structuring and underwriting through to credit approval and execution.
• Strong grounding in credit analysis, financial modelling, covenant structuring and downside protection.
• Exposure to infrastructure, energy, transportation or other asset-intensive sectors preferred.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment with complex, cross-border transactions.
