VP Syndication (Capital Solutions / Loan Syndications)

We are assisting a prestigious financial institution in seeking a VP – Syndication (Capital Solutions / Loan Syndications).This well-capitalised regional bank is expanding its Loan Capital Markets franchise across South and Southeast Asia, with a mandate to originate, structure and distribute syndicated loans for leading corporates, financial institutions, transportation, project and asset-backed financing.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Origination & Leadership:Partner Relationship Managers to drive asset growth and win top-tierlead mandates; shape syndication strategy and pricing.
• Coverage & Markets:Pursue opportunities acrossSouth & Southeast Asia(corporates, FIs, transportation, project and asset-backed financing).
• Pitching & Solutions:Leadpresentations, proposals and pitchbooks, articulating bankable structures and investor stories.
• Structuring & Terms:Assess credit profiles and financing needs; recommend terms, security and covenant packages aligned with market conditions.
• Mandate & Documentation:Negotiatemandate lettersand term sheets; oversee documentation to align with internal approvals and LCM standards.
• Syndication Execution:Coordinate thedistributionprocess end-to-end—investor sounding, bookbuild, allocations and close.
• Stakeholders & Market Intel:Maintain dialogues with clients, investors and peer banks; track market trends for origination ideas and better positioning.

Requirements:

• 10–15 yearsin Corporate Banking / Loan Capital Markets / Loan Syndication / Structured Finance with strong credit and financial analysis capability.
• Proven record in winning mandates, structuring syndicated loans and leading multi-party execution.
• Advanced skills in term-sheet negotiation, documentation, distribution strategy and investor engagement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics or Finance;CFAadvantageous. Financial modelling proficiency is a strong plus.
• Detail-oriented with rigorous process control; excellent communication and stakeholder management.
