Your New Role
As an Information & Technology Risk Manager, you will provide independent oversight as part of the Second Line of Defence, ensuring data, application, and technology risks are effectively identified, assessed, and managed in line with regulatory and industry standards.

Key responsibilities including:

• Oversee data and application risk management, including data governance, security, SDLC controls, and production environments
• Review and challenge first-line risk assessments, control design, testing, and remediation
• Assess compliance with data protection, privacy, and technology risk regulations
• Conduct thematic reviews and provide assurance on control effectiveness
• Advise on emerging risks across data, cloud, automation, and AI
• Report key risk issues to senior management and governance committees

What you'll need to succeed

• 8-12 years of experience in technology risk management, assurance, or audit, ideally within regulated or financial services environments
• Strong expertise in data, application, technology, and AI risk management
• Proven experience assessing controls across SDLC, data governance, access management, and application security
• Familiarity with frameworks such as MAS TRM, ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT, and DAMA-DMBOK
• Solid understanding of regulatory expectations related to data protection, privacy, and technology risk
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills with the ability to engage senior leadership
• Highly organised, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with evolving data, technology, and AI risk landscapes
