Overview of Division/Department

Our Trade Services (TRS), a member of our Singapore Administration Department (SGAD), is responsible for handling all trade related transactions which includes checking of documentary credits/collections, invoice financing relating to goods and services, freight financing, trust receipt etc

Job Responsibilities
1. Checking and managing transactions per approving authority/matrix
2. Managing various Trade processing system, reconciliation of documents daily counts and to perform EOD operations
3. Handling AML and country sanction matters.
4. Safe-keeping documents and Export LCs
5. Performing housekeeping for the team
6. Reporting cases of error and incident nature to management
7. Performing doc checking function per checking limit matrix
8. Perform follow up/tracing on outstanding items
9. Supporting other staff in case of need
10. Providing guidance to junior staff
11. Adhering to HOP and IOP (not limited to Part 8 where applicable)
12. Participating/Leading in project/ad hoc work as assigned
13. Assisting the Section Head in the supervision of the team
14. Supporting the Section Head to achieve departmental goals.
15. Supporting insourcing and outsourcing businesses
16. Taking on a supervisory role for BCP for split office when Section Head is at a different location
17. Assisting in cross team business area

Job Requirements
1. A Bachelor Degree with at least 10-12 years of relevant experience
2. Strong leadership, meticulous and ability to multitask are attributes that will help the candidate perform successfully in this role.
3. Additional professional qualification of Certified Documentary Credit Specialist (CDCS) would be advantageous
