You will be working closely with a number of highly experienced industry specialists, as well as work independently on a variety of asset classes.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for end-to-end deal execution: origination, structuring, credit execution and ongoing management of a portfolio of fund finance facilities for private equity funds in Asia Pacific.
Analyze, structure, and perform due diligence on transactions that vary in complexity.
Portfolio management of the existing fund finance facilities across Asia Pacific; complete periodical customer reviews, assist with ad-hoc requests from the client and the refinancing and extension of the facilities.
Manage existing client relationships and contributing to cross sell activities (i.e. running Client Profitability Models).
Lead & develop new client pipelines.
Establish and maintain an effective network of internal and external contacts across private equity funds.
Develop recommendations for the appropriate course of action, prepare and present credit submissions, liaise with external legal counsel on documentation.
Prepare and compile various reports for senior management on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. Reporting includes credit facility return metrics, relationship return metrics, risk limits, and annual budgeting and tracking.
Build the Mizuho ESG brand in becoming a top ESG house in the region as it relates to RASF.
Job Requirements
5-10 years of professional work experience in banking/fund finance/private equity funds preferred.
Strong credit, structuring, and execution skills.
Strong exposure to Fund Finance products - subscription facilities, GP facilities, hybrid and NAVs.
Self-motivated, results focused, team player with strong learning ability.
