Job Description - VP/SVP, Investment Solutions Specialist (Managed Solutions), Private Banking, Consumer Banking Group

Are you looking to operate at the intersection of markets, products and UHNW client engagement? We are seeking an experienced investment solutions specialist to drive fund advisory and distribution across our North Asian client franchise.

This is a role partnering closely with Relationship Managers and Investment Counsellors to originate, position and execute investment ideas across public and private markets

  • A global private bank is seeking an experienced Investment Solutions Specialist to join their team. 
  • This individual will play a key role in driving fund distribution and strengthening the bank’s fund offerings. You will be part of the advisory team and supported by the fund selection team to help you advise internal and external stakeholders.
  • The ideal candidate has deep understanding of the fund landscape and proven track record of building strong relationships with internal stakeholders (private bankers and investment counsellors)  and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive fund penetration and revenue by positioning public and private market strategies (mutual funds, hedge funds, private equity, private credit) to UHNW clients
  • Deepen relationships with relationship managers and investment counsellors through product training, market updates, and client presentations to enhance fund penetration.
  • Own product positioning and narrative – translate market views to actionable client ideas and portfolios
  • Lead and support fundraising efforts by including client meetings, roadshows and targeted events
  • Deliver high impact training and enablement to frontline teams to strengthen product conviction and sales effectiveness
  • Work closely with product and investment teams to shape product strategy, feedback market demand and refine go-to-market approach
  • Maintain strong awareness of market trends, competitor positioning and client sentiment to drive timely and relevant engagement

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience in fund sales and distribution, preferably within private banking platforms with proven track record of building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and achieving sales targets.
  • Self-motivated, commercially driven, and able to work independently in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
  • Strong familiarity with alternatives (private markets, hedge funds) and fundraising cycles
  • Good knowledge and direct experience in advising clients on funds.
