WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT

1. Receiving and Inspection

• Receive incoming goods and verify against delivery orders/invoices
• Inspect items for damage, expiry, or discrepancies
• Report any shortages or issues to the supervisor

2. Storage and Organization

• Store items in designated locations following proper labeling and FIFO/FEFO methods
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse
• Ensure proper handling to prevent damage or contamination

3. Inventory Management

• Assist in stock counting and periodic inventory audits
• Update stock records in inventory systems or manual logs
• Monitor stock levels and report low stock or overstock situations

4. Picking and Packing

• Pick items accurately based on requisitions or orders
• Pack goods securely for delivery or dispatch
• Ensure correct labeling and documentation for outgoing shipments

5. Dispatch and Delivery Support

• Prepare items for delivery and coordinate with logistics teams
• Verify outgoing goods against dispatch documents
• Assist in loading/unloading of goods

6. Documentation and Record Keeping

• Maintain proper records of incoming and outgoing stock
• File delivery notes, invoices, and inventory reports
• Ensure documentation compliance with company procedures

7. Safety and Compliance

• Follow workplace safety guidelines and SOPs
• Use equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, trolleys) safely
• Report hazards, incidents, or unsafe practices

8. General Support Duties

• Assist in warehouse maintenance and housekeeping
• Support supervisors in daily operations
• Perform any other duties assigned by management
