Job Summary

Ensure accurate receipt, handling, and documentation of shipments while maintaining warehouse order and safety to support efficient inbound and outbound logistics operations.

Responsibilities

• Verify accurate receipt of goods and correctness of all related documents upon arrival
• Record all shipments accurately to maintain up-to-date inventory and tracking
• Inspect documents and cargo before releasing shipments to terminal handling agents
• Sort import and export shipments for timely lodging to airlines
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards throughout the warehouse
• Ensure all warehouse equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition
• Perform pick and pack operations for import and export shipments efficiently
• Confirm that the number of pieces received from the collection team matches shipping documents
• Measure and verify weight and cargo dimensions accurately for shipment processing
• Ensure cargo received from the collection team is in perfect condition and report discrepancies to Supervisor or Operations Manager
• Maintain tidiness and organization within the warehouse to support smooth operations
• Adhere strictly to warehouse safety protocols to prevent personal injury and accidents
• Complete any ad-hoc tasks assigned to support warehouse and shipment operations

Required competencies and certifications

• Possess a valid forklift licence (MUST HAVE)
• Competent in computer skills and common applications including Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Minimum 1 year of experience in warehouse or logistics operations

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Reside in the East region (Tampines or Pasir Ris)
• Willingness to work night shifts
