Warehouse Assistant cum Delivery Driver

Hao Ren Hao Shi 好人好事is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing essential provisions to those in need in our community. Our mission is to improve the lives of the underprivileged and families in need by providing essential supplies and provisions, bringing convenience, confidence, joy and hope to the beneficiaries and volunteers, regardless of race or religion.

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warehouse Assistant cum Delivery Driver to support our charity efforts. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate tracking and management of inventory in our warehouse.

Responsibilities:

· Maintain accurate inventory records of all provisions received, stored, and distributed

· Assist with the receiving, sorting, and storage of donated provisions in our warehouse

· Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies as needed

· Prepare provision for weekly distribution and ensure accuracy and completeness

· Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and with care

· Deliver provisions to designated locations when needed

· Provide friendly and respectful customer service

· Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse and delivery vehicles

· Collaborate with team members to coordinate distribution schedules and optimize efficiency

Requirements:

· Class 3 or 4 driving license with a clean driving record

· Able to drive 14ft lorry

· Able to operate reach truck

· Process Forklift licence is an advantage

· Prior experience working in a warehouse or delivery role preferred

· Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management

· Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards those in need

· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

· Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
