Job Description:
We are looking for a Warehouse Assistant to support our clients warehouse operations.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in various tasks including receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse.
The Warehouse Assistant will work closely with the warehouse team to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of goods.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in receiving and inspecting incoming shipments.
- Organize and store products in designated locations within the warehouse.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to established procedures.
- Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet operational goals and deadlines.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
