Warehouse Assistants (Engineering / Island-wide Locations)

Job Description:

• Receiving, unloading, checking and processing of incoming materials
• Put away and storing of materials in the right place and storage condition
• Picking and issue of materials to end users over the counter
• Ensure materials are adequately packed and protected during storage and transportation
• Monitor and maintain stock accuracy by ensuring physical stock holding matches the Inventory Management System stock quantity and ensure all stock movements are timely and correctly recorded for inventory accuracy
• Initiate material order demands or return of materials for Customer and the replenishments of stocks as required
• Maintain safe, clean and tidy workplace and work tools and material handling equipment are well maintained
• Monitor the storage/service life of materials in the store and initiate relifing/ inspection or disposal actions as required
• Perform stocktake or checks on inventory as scheduled
• Perform material checks, preservation and packing of materials as required
• Deployed on-site at Customer premise and serve as Point of Contact for
• Customer to meet their logistics needs or to resolve issues
• Handle any other related adhoc assignments as and when required

Job Requirements:

• O/N Level, NiTEC, Diploma or relevant work experience
• Able to work independently
