Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor (Manufacturing Industry)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations within a manufacturing environment. The role involves managing inventory, supervising warehouse staff, and ensuring efficient storage, handling, and distribution of materials and finished goods in compliance with company policies and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock control through regular cycle counts and stock audits.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and preservation of raw materials, components, and finished products.
• Lead, train, and evaluate warehouse staff to ensure productivity and adherence to procedures.
• Implement and enforce health, safety, and housekeeping standards in the warehouse.
• Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to support manufacturing schedules.
• Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Maintain and update warehouse management systems (WMS) and documentation.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to inventory, shipments, or warehouse operations.
• Optimize warehouse layout and processes to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in supervising teams and managing warehouse activities.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse procedures.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Basic proficiency in ERP/WMS and Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with lean manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement initiatives.
• Forklift license or certification (where applicable).
• Knowledge of ISO standards or quality management systems.
