Warehouse Supervisor (Class 3/Short notice) - Join a Market Leader

Job Description:

• Keep an eye on and supervise every aspect of warehouse operations to guarantee that incoming and exiting items are handled seamlessly by the ERP system.
• Ensure that the distribution, receiving, and warehouse environments are always safe, secure, and clean.
• Issue purchase orders to keep stock levels at ideal levels and work with suppliers to ensure prompt delivery. 
• When necessary, fill in as a backup driver or delivery staff member to ensure that equipment and commodities are delivered to customers' locations promptly and safely.
• Make sure business cars are maintained properly, which includes keeping driver logs and performing pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Verify adherence to business policy and truck driving laws.
• Work together with shipping brokers and freight forwarders to schedule shipments and get accurate prices.
• Help in producing reports on inventory levels on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis and addressing any inconsistencies.
• Complete any ad hoc tasks that are given to you.

Requirements:

• GCE 'N' Levels or equivalent as a minimum. 
• Three years or more of experience managing inventories and running warehouses. 
• Knowledge of safety laws and warehousing best practices. 
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook). 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Physical endurance and the capacity to lift large objects as needed. 
• Having a Class 3 driver's license.
