Welder / Flame Cutter

Supervisor / Foreman
Flame Cutting Operations
Operate oxy‑acetylene or LPG gas cutting sets to cut steel plates, beams, and pipes.
Ensure precision and quality in cutting according to engineering drawings.
Welding Duties
Perform ARC, MIG, or gas welding for shipbuilding, repair, and fabrication.
Weld steel components such as hull plates, brackets, supports, and frames.
Conduct grinding and finishing to meet specifications.
Fabrication & Assembly
Assist in steel fabrication, installation, dismantling, and repair works.
Align and fit materials before welding.
Safety & Compliance
Adhere to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act and MOM regulations.
Use PPE (helmet, gloves, goggles, face shield) at all times.
Attend toolbox meetings and safety briefings.
Education/Experience:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in welding and flame cutting (marine or construction).
Skills:
Proficiency in ARC/MIG/TIG welding, flame cutting, blueprint reading.
Physical Demands:
Ability to work at heights, confined spaces, and handle heavy materials.
