As a Qualcomm Hardware Engineer, you will plan, design, optimize, verify, and test electronic systems, bring-up yield, circuits, mechanical systems, Digital/Analog/RF/optical systems, equipment and packaging, test systems, FPGA, and/or DSP systems that launch cutting-edge, world class products. Qualcomm Hardware Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and meet performance requirements.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u0027s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.\n\nJob Responsibilities\n\n * Drive cost reduction, weed out unwarranted expenses/wastages, find alternative sources and improve processes with innovative solutions to raise efficiency.\n * Drive quality investigations and continuous improvement programs to resolve chronic process and quality issues, and institute permanent resolutions to assure product quality and enhance process robustness.\n * Enforce on line controls and execution to conform to work instructions and procedures. Apply hands-on and with deep involvement at work.\n * Coach, guide and train engineers and technicians in processes and problem solving and analysis to build up their technical competencies and achieve self-sustenance.\n * Take accountability of work and possesses strong sense of responsibility and team work.\n * Ensure non-conformance is dealt with in a proper and effective manner.\n * Establish, review and perform regular update of FMEA, OCAP, Process control, Risk Assessment and SIPOC on all critical processes to ensure a robust process.\n * Compliance with CSR, EHS, QM, ESD, 5S standard and cleanroom protocol.\n\n\n\nEducation/Experience Requirements\n\n * Minimum Bachelor\u2019s degree in Physics / Chemistry / Material Science/ Electronic or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.\n * Minimum 4 years of related work experience in wafer process engineering and/or equipment maintenance.\n * Experience in high volume production of electronics components in an MNC or semi-conductor industry.\n * WET Process experience on Wet Etch , WET Resist Strip /Lift off (Single wafer lift off ) , Wafer cleaning processes\n * Good knowledge of wafer fab manufacturing processes, equipment and materials and capable of applying them effectively at work. Experience with MIcrosoft applications .\n\n\n\nSkills, Abilities \u0026 Knowledge\n\n * Relevant knowledge of WET process and Semiconductior WET equipment \u2013SSEC- Lift oof , Resist strip , WET etch , High pressure clean etc\n * Strong organizational, leadership, communications and interpersonal skills.\n * Systematic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\n * Application of quality and SPC tools at work.\n * Dynamic, resourceful, creative, innovative and self-driven.\n * A strong analytical mind and able to organize works to identify the root cause of problems.
