Wholesale Bank VP/SVP Deputy Head of Compliance

This is a crucial hire that will act as the deputy to the Regional Head of Compliance and assist in administering and enforcing the compliance framework pertaining MAS’ regulations.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

1. Provide practical, risk-based compliance advice across both regulatory compliance and AML/KYC to business and support functions.
2. Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on business operations.
3. Support oversight of AML/CFT, sanctions, anti-bribery and corruption, and fraud risk management frameworks.
4. Act as the point of contact with the MAS for regulatory matters.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

1. At least 10 years of experience ideally in both regulatory compliance and AML/KYC in the corporate/wholesale banking industry.
2. Experience in liaising with the MAS and managing regulatory examinations will be advantageous.
3. Strong communication and stakeholders’ skills.
