WORKSHOP SERVICE ENGINEER

Job Requirement:

• Manage and responsible of the service workshop in SEA.
• Ensure workplace safety, implement safety measure in workshop environment.
• Lead and manage warehouse activities.
• Coaching and managing of service technician team
• Hands-on service/repair jobs if needed. 
• Assigning service jobs within the team to ensure dateline met.
• Support on technical assignment including hands on inspection/servicing and commissioning duties if needed.
• Ensure inventory suffices for key customers and service jobs. 
• Ensure that all workshop machinery, tools, and equipment undergo routine inspections to ensure their safety and legal compliance.
• Submission on monthly reports on customers and workshop KPIs
• Manage relationships with necessary contacts, suppliers, and key client/customers.
• Establish and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Ensure all customer activity is conducted in accordance with the Company Policy.
• Other ad-hoc duties given
• Support on service reports and ensure quality and timely submission
• Contribute to team goals and objectives as directed

Education:

• Candidate must possess at least an Engineering Diploma in a Mechanical/Electrical
• Excellent business English Skills
• Proficiency with MS Platforms 
• Knowledge of Mechanical/Electrical is preferred

Experience:

• Experience in managing a service or manufacturing workshop/team 
• Experience in managing a workshop for heavy equipment/repairs
• Hands on experience in inspection and servicing of decanter and centrifuges 
• Hands on experience on technical skills such as welding, ice blasting
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Min. 5 years of experience on handling rotating equipment 
• Possess good commercial acumen and awareness 
• Good practices in service/manufacturing industries
• Knowledge in environmental / municipal sector will be an advantage 

Technical Competencies and Skillset:

• Computer Skills, with the willingness to learn and facilitate CRM accuracy
• Moderate level computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and Outlook
• Sound awareness of safety principles and their application in an industrial environment
