Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager / WSHE Officer to identify any unsafe condition in the worksite or unsafe work practice in the worksite
- Assist the Site Manager / WSHE Officer to implement reasonably practicable measures to remedy the unsafe condition or unsafe work practice
- Check Sub-Contractors' work to ensure compliance with the WSH Act and its subsidiary legislations, including the provisions of the WSH (Construction) Regulations
- Carry out site WSHE programmes, procedures and assist in organising WSHE awareness activities such as tool-box meetings, WSHE orientation, WSHE induction, promotional activities, etc.
- Monitor risk assessment compliance and report to WSHE Officer for any non-compliance
- Ensure risk assessment control measures are implemented for all site activities
- Be prepared to stop work or to notify the WSHE Department in the event of any WSHE deviations
- Value Add of Position:- In-depth knowledge of WSHE legal guidelines to advise and facilitate site activities
- Liaise with the authorities and clients on all WSH issues
- Prepare Lifting plan as per MOM requirement
- Coordinating and supervising all lifting activities in accordance with the Lifting Plan and SWP
- Ensure all lifting activities comply with safety regulations
- Check the validity of lifting gears/ apparatuses prior to operating any lifting devices.
- Be present during all lifting operations
- Application of Lifting permit and manage all lifting documentation in place
- To carry out ad-hoc delivery requests as required from the site
Requirements:
- Minimum WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace, Safety and Health (Level B) as stipulated in the Singapore Ministry of Manpower’s accepted WSH-related qualifications.
- Must possess WSQ-SUPERVISE SAFE LIFTING OPERATIONS certificate
- Minimum 2 years of building experiences as WSH Coordinator
- Certification in Lifting Supervisors Safety Course
- Certification in Supervision of Metal Scaffold Erection Course
- Certification in Confined Space Safety Assessor Course
- Certification in first aider course
- Possess rigger, signal and other safety certificate will be added advantage
- Able to communicate effectively with lifting team and client
- Team player & self-motivated
- Minimum 2 years of lifting supervisor experiences
