About this role:

As a Buyer for Novela, you will be responsible for identifying and procuring beauty products that align with our brand's image and customer preferences. You will collaborate with suppliers, analyse market trends, and develop strategies to optimize product selection, pricing, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Sourcing and Selection:Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, both domestically and internationally, to source high-quality beauty products.
  Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate terms, pricing, and quality standards.
  Continuously research and identify new beauty products that align with the company's brand and customer base.
  
• Market Analysis and Trend Assessment:Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging beauty product innovations.
  Analyze market data and consumer preferences to make informed decisions about product selection.
  
• Inventory Management:Monitor inventory levels, sales performance, and product demand.
  Implement inventory management strategies to optimize product availability and minimize overstock or stockouts.
  Pricing and Profitability:
  Set competitive and profitable pricing strategies for beauty products.
  Work with the pricing team to maximize profitability while remaining competitive in the market.
  
• Supplier Relationships:Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers to ensure product quality and reliability.
  Identify new potential suppliers and build mutually beneficial partnerships.
  
• Cross-functional Collaboration:Collaborate with the marketing, sales, and operations teams to ensure product launches, promotions, and marketing campaigns are executed effectively.
  

Qualifications:

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Previous experience as a buyer in the beauty or retail industry.
• Strong knowledge of beauty products, trends, and market dynamics.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
