Buyer / Manufacturing Industry/ West

Our client is a Global Manufacturing MNC, one of the leading players in the Oil & Gas servicing sector. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Buyer to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the West.

Responsibilities:

• Use various measurement techniques/methods to determine the desirable suppliers.
• Monitor and improve supplier performance as needed.
• Adjust lead times for commodities based on monitoring results.
• Plan and schedule work execution, using internal or subcontracted services, and track progress.
• Expedite orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Develop specifications for competitive procurement of complex items.
• Act as a liaison between suppliers and internal teams.
• Maintain and update the Approved Supplier List (ASL).
• Collaborate with QA/QC, Safety, Purchasing, and Engineering departments.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures.
• Performing ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Min Diploma or equivalent
• Min 5 years of relevant working experience
