Job Title: Merchandiser (Located in East)

Job Description

We are seeking a data-driven and trend-conscious Merchandiser to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing product lifecycles, optimizing inventory levels, and executing strategic purchasing decisions to drive sales growth and maximize profitability. You will work closely with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure our product offerings align with market demands and company goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory & Stock Management: Monitor inventory levels, track stock turn rates, and manage replenishment cycles to prevent stockouts or overstocks.

• Market Analysis & Trend Forecasting: Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor pricing to identify new product opportunities and forecast demand.

• Supplier & Vendor Management: Source, negotiate, and maintain strong relationships with global and local suppliers to secure competitive pricing and reliable lead times.

• Sales Performance Tracking: Evaluate sales data and KPIs to generate insights on product performance, recommending markdowns or promotional strategies where necessary.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Logistics, Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure seamless product launches and optimal visual merchandising alignment.

Requirements & Skills

• Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in merchandising, buying, or inventory planning (Retail or Wholesale trade preferred).

• Analytical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and experience with inventory management/ERP software.

• Negotiation & Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to negotiate effectively with vendors and collaborate across departments.

• Problem-Solving: Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and the ability to make data-driven decisions in a fast-paced environment.

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Retail Management, or a related field.
