Merchandising Manager (Cosmetics / Ladies Jewellery) / $7000/ 5 days

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement plans and strategies for achieving sales, stock, and profit targets.

• Manage buying budgets, merchandise mix, and stocks.

• Enhance online store sales by maximizing synergy with physical store.

• Sales Forecasting and analyse fashion and demand trends, recommend new merchandise mix and suppliers.

• Plan and develop effective sourcing and procurement systems.

• Conduct market research on trade information and competitors’ stores.

• Negotiate with vendors for most favourable terms and conditions.

• Plan merchandise purchase and delivery schedule from overseas buying trips.

• Manage day-to-day business plans and sales operations of the department.

• Control operating expenses (including manpower expenses).

• Prepare and analyse sales, profits, and stock reports; prepare budget reports.

• Prepare and execute advertising and promotion plans, budget, and schedules.

• Enhance merchandise presentations.

• Embrace digital marketing for better customer engagement and business growth.

• Prepare and execute manpower plans, check and approve department’s monthly staff roster.

• Conduct effective performance management of staff.

• Keep up to date on store information and product knowledge.

• Establish and reform operation system, merchandise assortment, and service level based on customers’ requirements/feedback.

• Resolve customer complaints and obtain customers’ feedback.

• Comply with Company’s policies, rules, and regulations and abide by social rules and regulations.

• Comply with all government regulations, including rules governing the Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) Act.

• Maintain in confidence all confidential information owned or used by the Company.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related fields.

• Well Experienced in handling Ladie's Accessiories , jewellery products

• Ability to do Forecasting , analysation and Negotiable with Suppliers

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in merchandising, buying, or retail operations.

• Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
