Procurement Officer

Responsibilities

• Involved in daily purchasing activities;
• Assist in preparation and issuance of purchaseorders to suppliers that are approved by the manager
• Prepare compression excel sheet for suppliers quotes to get approval to issue PO to preferred supplier.
• Negotiation on pricing, credit terms and delivery schedule
• Review quotations
• Provide administrative support of purchase manager
• Data Entries in IFS/SAP/ERP system and prepare purchase orders
• Weekly report for internal PO and request and issue PO to suppliers for tracking
• Ensure and maintain proper record of PO issued, PO Pending, delivery, and payment time line.
• Other duties assigned

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Purchasing and Logistics Management, or equivalent
• 1-3 years experience in purchasing role, is preferred
• Proficient in MS Office. and hand-on on IFS or similar software preferred
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with people
• Ability to work independently and as a team player
• Results-oriented and able to abide by tight deadlines with a strong sense of responsibility
