Sephora SEA’s omnichannel business spans over 8 countries (Australia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand) with 100+ stores and boasts some global flagships such as ION and Raffles City in Singapore, F88 in Kuala Lumpur and Pitt Street in Sydney. Sephora SEA is experiencing rapid growth in the region with new store openings and business channels (i.e., Click and collect and marketplace). 

Senior Executive, Merchandising Operations

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Merchandising Operations Executive to join our dynamic Merchandising Operations team.

In this role, you will support the seamless execution of our commercial calendar and promotional campaigns a cross the region.

You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate and deliver impactful promotional activities, ensure timely execution, and maintain efficient operational processes.

Brand Partner Collaboration

  • Proactively follow up with brand partners to get necessary support, including discounts and Gift With Purchases (GWPs), for the agreed retailer-led promotional initiatives

Promotional Execution and Coordination

  • Lead the execution of approved promotions by effectively coordinating with key internal departments, including Supply Chain, Digital, and Marketing
  • Ensure all logistical, digital, and marketing elements of campaigns are aligned and executed according to plan

Regional Communication and Alignment

  • Communicate clearly and concisely with country teams regarding upcoming promotions and campaign guidelines
  • Monitor and ensure that all country-level executions adhere to the agreed-upon schematic and regional strategy

System Administration and Setup

  • Manage the end-to-end administration and set up of promotions within internal systems and processes
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all data entry and configuration related to promotional activities

Commercial Campaign Calendar Management

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive regional commercial campaign calendar, serving as the central source of truth for category teams
  • Ensure the calendar accurately reflects brand participation details, key dates, and promotional mechanics

Billback Process Management

  • Oversee the billback process and administration for brand-funded promotions, ensuring accurate and timely financial reconciliation
  • Collaborate with finance and brand teams to resolve any discrepancies


We would love to hear from you if you are/have…

  • 4-5 years of experience in commercial operations, merchandising, or a related field, preferably within retail or beauty industry
  • Strong understanding of retail promotional cycles and commercial calendars
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Experience with internal retail systems (e.g., SAP, merchandising planning tools) is a plus
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • A passion for the beauty industry is highly desirable
