Sourcing Specialist (Consumables, Health Beauty Consumer Products) (US MNC)

Our client is a privately owned multi billion dollars retail company.

Job Responsibilities:

• Source and develop new supplier and product according to the Objective received from the buying team
• Identify best in class suppliers in the region in line with Company’s policy to offer best value to the business
• Expand the sourcing footprint outside of China
• Monitor day to day operation including supplier management, product development, quote sheets, sample verification & order follow up. Payment terms negotiation and supplier set up, on time shipment & Critical Path management. Supplier evaluation
• Communicate with Sourcing team in the US and vendors to ensure programs are delivered as per schedule
• Coordinate the sourcing activities with QA, Supply chain and packaging teams
• Organize and work on Buying Trip with Sourcing team from US
• Need to demonstrate a relevant expertise in Consumables, Health, and Beauty Care

Job Requirements:

• 5 to 8 years of experience in Consumables, Health, and Beauty Care industry
• Less experienced candidate will be considered as Junior Sourcing Specialist
• Experience in large sourcing/buying office. Good sourcing network in China, South East Asia and India
• Familiar with regulatory requirements for US market
• Familiar with supply chain optimization process
• Familiar with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word. Proficient knowledge of Excel PIVOT table and VLOOKUP functions would be preferred
