Responsibilities we will trust you with:
As the Range second-in-command, to assist the Range Supervising Officer to ensure that all ranges are conducted in accordance with the established procedures and range standing orders.
To conduct the various trainfire ranges and attain the following contractual KPIs:
To achieve the KPIs set for Passing and Marksmanship for the various test packages.
To achieve the KPIs set for Soldier Satisfaction Survey.
To ensure compliance to all the established range safety and security procedures.
To be responsible in ensuring that all ranges are conducted in accordance with the established procedures as follows.
To prepare lesson plan and complete Administrative instruction and RAWR.
To conduct pre range systems check.
To conduct train-fire program brief in accordance with lesson plan.
To ensure proper end of range ammunition accounting.
To ensure end of range security check and unit declaration.
To adopt and practice safety culture in the workplace.
To undertake any other duties as assign by immediate supervisor.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
Candidates with relevant experience in supervisory, training, or operational roles are welcome to apply. Experience from military contexts (e.g. Supervising or Conducting Officer roles) may be considered an advantage.
Experience in conducting live-firing and ranges
Versed in SAF Authorised Operating Materials (AOMs) and Army Safety Management.
Effective communication skills
The working location will be at Multi Mission Range Complex, MMRC.
