Director/ VP, Real Estate Investments and Asset Management

An established real estate investment platform is seeking a seasoned investment professional to lead its investment, asset management, and development strategy across Singapore and selected regional markets. This is a highly strategic leadership role responsible for driving portfolio growth, maximising asset value, and overseeing the successful execution of investment and development initiatives across a diversified real estate portfolio.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

• Lead the origination, evaluation, execution, and management of investment opportunities across multiple real estate asset classes, supporting the organisation's long-term growth objectives.

• Develop and implement investment strategies through rigorous financial modelling, market analysis, commercial due diligence, and transaction structuring to optimise risk-adjusted returns.

• Oversee the performance of the existing portfolio by driving asset optimisation initiatives, monitoring portfolio performance, and identifying value enhancement and repositioning opportunities.

• Provide strategic leadership across development projects, from feasibility assessment through execution and operational stabilisation, ensuring delivery against financial, commercial, and project objectives.

• Lead negotiations relating to acquisitions, joint ventures, financing arrangements, strategic partnerships, and asset disposals while managing key stakeholder relationships throughout the transaction lifecycle.

• Prepare and present investment proposals, portfolio performance updates, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and investment committees.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, business partners, regulatory authorities, and external advisors to support investment, development, and capital deployment initiatives.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team while fostering a collaborative and commercially driven culture across the investment platform.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering or a related discipline, with postgraduate qualifications or professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, MRICS or PMP considered advantageous.

• At least 12 years of experience spanning real estate investment, asset management, and development, including a proven track record of leading complex transactions and managing diversified property portfolios.

• Strong commercial acumen with advanced financial modelling, valuation, investment underwriting, and portfolio management capabilities.

• Deep understanding of real estate markets, investment structures, capital financing, development processes, and value creation strategies across multiple asset classes.

• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing high-performing teams and influencing senior stakeholders, investment committees, and strategic partners.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills, with the ability to operate effectively within a dynamic and fast-paced investment environment.
