Oversee the facilities management, operations, maintenance, repair, and minor improvement works across the Institute.
Manage and coordinate nominated contractors, subcontractors, and service providers appointed by the Institute.
Ensure the efficient and uninterrupted operation of building services and facilities.
Develop and implement maintenance plans, schedules, and operational strategies.
Prepare and manage facilities maintenance and project budgets.
Plan manpower deployment and supervise on-site teams to ensure service delivery standards are met.
Serve as the primary point of contact and representative for all facilities-related matters with the Institute.
Work closely with the Institute’s Administration and Facilities Management Departments, as well as other Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) contractors.
Coordinate, monitor, and report on facilities-related projects, maintenance activities, and operational performance.
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
Provide regular updates and reports to the Institute’s designated person-in-charge.
About you:
Diploma, Degree, or equivalent qualification in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline.
Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within facilities management, preferably in commercial, industrial, or institutional environments.
Strong knowledge of facilities management operations, building maintenance, and M&E systems.
Demonstrated ability to plan, execute, and oversee maintenance and facilities management works.
Experience in budgeting, cost control, and project management.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
