Identify and develop new business opportunities within the offshore and marine sector.
Build and maintain strong relationships with shipowners, offshore operators, EPC contractors, oil & gas companies, renewable energy developers, and government agencies.
Develop strategies to expand the company's client base and market presence.
Source and evaluate commercial opportunities including vessel chartering, offshore projects, marine engineering services, and strategic partnerships.
Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, tender submissions, and contract negotiations.
Lead commercial discussions from initial engagement through contract execution.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify potential business opportunities.
Work closely with operations, finance, legal, and project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Represent the company at industry conferences, exhibitions, networking events, and client meetings.
Maintain accurate sales pipeline, CRM records, and regular business development reports.
Achieve agreed sales targets and business growth objectives.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Maritime Studies, Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of business development or commercial experience within the offshore, marine, shipping, or energy industry.
Strong understanding of the offshore & marine market, including vessel operations, offshore projects, marine services, or offshore energy.
Existing network within the offshore and marine industry will be highly advantageous.
Proven track record in generating new business and managing key customer relationships.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and evaluate business opportunities.
Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
Willingness to travel internationally when required.
