Job Description - Business Development Executive

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify, engage, and build strong, lasting relationships with qualified Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioners, Western medical doctors with an interest in integrative medicine, and other relevant healthcare professionals.
  • Strategically identify, assess, and engage potential Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and influential medical experts within the TCM and conventional healthcare communities. Develop and implement strategies to establish long-term partnerships with these KOLs.
  • Promote the value proposition of working in Gushengtang TCM to potential physicians - highlighting clinic infrastructure, patient flow, administrative support, professional development opportunities, and the collaborative environment.
  • Gather and analyze market intelligence related to physician needs, competitive recruitment strategies, industry trends, and practitioner feedback. Provide critical insights to internal teams (e.g., operations, marketing, human resources) to refine our value proposition for practitioners and optimize our business model.
  • Provide ongoing support and build trust with engaged physicians and KOLs, assisting them through the partnership or recruitment process and ensuring a smooth integration into our clinic network.
  • Work in close collaboration with clinic operations and human resources teams to develop and execute effective recruitment and partnership strategies, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and clinic growth plans.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field such as Traditional Chinese Medicine, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Human Resources (with a focus on recruitment), or Life Sciences.
  • Minimum 2 years of progressive experience in business development, physician recruitment, medical liaison, or a related partnership/sales role within the healthcare industry, with a demonstrated focus on engaging healthcare professionals.
  • A strong understanding and genuine passion for Traditional Chinese Medicine principles and the evolving TCM healthcare landscape is highly advantageous. Prior experience specifically within the TCM clinic or healthcare provider recruitment sector is a significant plus.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a proven ability to build rapport, establish trust, and influence key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify strategic opportunities for physician partnerships, develop actionable plans, and proactively drive initiatives to successful completion.
