Job Description - Business Development Executive (International Sales)

Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and results-oriented Business Development Executive to join our International Sales team. This role is responsible for developing overseas business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and supporting international sales activities to achieve business growth.

The ideal candidate should possess strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to build long-term customer relationships and support business expansion in international markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in international markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with overseas customers and business partners.
  • Manage customer enquiries, quotations, negotiations, and order fulfilment.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and excellent customer service.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis.
  • Support the development and execution of sales and marketing strategies.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Participate in business meetings, exhibitions, and overseas visits when required.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, International Business, Sales, or a related discipline.
  • At least 1 year of experience in sales, business development, account management, or customer relationship management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good presentation and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Willingness to travel overseas occasionally when business requires.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in international sales or export business will be an advantage.
  • Experience in the automotive, manufacturing, trading, or industrial sectors is an added advantage.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers from different countries and cultural backgrounds.

  • Working Days: Monday to Friday
  • Working Hours: Standard Office Hours
  • Work Arrangement: On-site
  • Probation Period: 3 months
