Job Description - Business development manager

Weare looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team.The successful candidate will be responsible for growing our client base andpromoting our one-stop corporate secretarial solutions. This role is an idealfit for a “people person” who thrives on closing deals, building professionalnetworks, and helping businesses stay compliant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactive Outreach: Identify and engage potential clients (startups and SMEs) through various channels, including cold calling, networking events, and digital platforms.
  • Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for new leads, building deep trust, and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with existing clients.
  • Consultative Selling: Understand client business needs and pitch tailored solutions from our one-stop service menu (incorporation, corporate secretarial services, accounting, tax services, EP application, etc.)
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the compliance and corporate secretarial teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience. This includes preparing proposals, quotations, and service agreements.
  • Reporting: Track sales KPIs, maintain organized CRM records, and provide regular updates on pipeline growth to senior management.
  • Market Strategy: Analyse industry trends and competitor activity to refine our sales pitch and identify untapped market segments.

Requirements

  • Education: Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Accounting, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Sales or Business Development, preferably within the professional services, legal, or accounting sector.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex compliance matters in a simple, persuasive manner.
  • Sales Acumen: A self-starter with a proven track record of conducting sales meetings, delivering presentations, and exceeding targets.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Natural ability to build rapport with business owners and corporate clients.
